Romania is in the process of digitizing the public sector. In this connection, the Romanian authorities are looking for inspiration from other countries, including Denmark, which, according to the United Nations, is a global leader in public digitalization.
As a result, cBrain has been in dialogue with various authorities and possible partners in Romania over several years, including visits to Denmark. This is, among other things, done in collaboration with the Danish Embassy in Bucharest.
At the beginning of the year, cBrain started to cooperate with a local Romanian consultancy, which has an office in Bucharest. The goal is to offer F2-based solutions that can support public digitization in Romania.
It is therefore encouraging that we have now succeeded in winning the first order in Romania. The agreement is based on a Romanian public tender, which was carried out in the spring. This is an EU-funded project under the EU's recovery plan.
The offered F2 solution will have around 1,000 users, and the solution will support communication and case management between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 109 Romanian municipalities in connection with the preparation of legislative proposals.
cBrain provides F2 standard software, while the Romanian partner will be responsible for local customization, including Romanian language support. This is possible because both adaptation of functions and language can be done through configuration in F2 without changing the standard software.
At the same time, adaptation can be done quickly and with a limited resource effort, because adaptation takes place through configuration. Adaptation thus does not require many hours compared to programming, which gives a significant competitive advantage.
The agreement is important for cBrain because it supports the international growth plan, which is based on the export of F2 standard software and Danish experience.
The agreement shows that Danish public solutions have export potential, including especially that cBrain has a competitive advantage by being able to offer standard software as an alternative to customized solutions. At the same time, the partner agreement supports that cBrain manages to execute the partner strategy, called "F2 for Partners", which constitutes one of the 3 basic elements of cBrain's 2025 strategy.
