cBrain is to supply climate software in California

cBrain has entered into an agreement in California for the delivery of an F2-based solution that will support the authority’s work in sequestering CO2 (“Carbon Farming”) and more sustainable agriculture (“Sustainable Farming”).

The solution will make it easier and faster for farmers to engage in sustainable farming initiatives and connect them to available funding. From planning, to funding and implementing will at present take a landowner several years. By closing the time gap from decision to implementation, this can be achieved within weeks or months exponentially increasing the environmentally beneficial impact.

Afforestation and improved aquatic environment are important elements in the green transition.

The forests absorb and store CO2, and at the same time wood offers an alternative to, for example, CO2-emitting materials in construction. Similarly, an aquatic environment is among the important factors for conservation of animal and plant life in creeks, lakes, and coastal waters and thus biodiversity. The purpose of the new digital platform that cBrain is to deliver in California is thus to support climate-robust solutions, accelerate afforestation, and to secure a better aquatic environment.

cBrain delivers the new solution in the form of an F2 cloud service.

The agreement in California is important to cBrain. It supports cBrain’s investment in climate software export, and at the same time, the agreement supports cBrain’s entry into the US market.

Denmark is leading internationally, both relating to digitalization and climate. Over the past four years, Denmark has ranked number 1 on the United Nations’ global E-government list, just like Denmark is at the top of the international lists in relation to climate.

As a supplier to i.e., the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, cBrain has built up expertise and a broad portfolio of F2-based solutions that support the autochories’ work in relations to climate efforts.

cBrain calls this type of solution “climate software”, and through digitization of government processes, cBrain can contribute to climate efforts, including both nature restoration and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Unfortunately, it often takes a long time, in many cases years, from the politicians have adopted concrete efforts in the climate area until the time when the decision is executed. A significant reason for the delay is the time it takes to establish the necessary IT systems that the authorities use to implement and administer the decisions.

Here, cBrain is in a unique situation because F2 is a standard software that can be quickly configured to support even very complex professional processes. cBrain is therefore able to deliver solutions much faster than the traditional suppliers, and the current solution in California is expected to be delivered within a few months.

By delivering quickly, cBrain can contribute to minimizing the time from political decision to execution. That is good news for the climate, and at the same time it gives cBrain a significant competitive advantage.

Export of F2 climate software is therefore a key element in cBrain’s international growth strategy.
