cBrain to supply climate software in Egypt

cBrain has entered into an agreement with the Environmental Compliance Office (ECO), which is a division of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI). cBrain is to supply an F2 solution that is to support the issuance of loans to Egyptian companies in relation to energy efficiency.

Energy efficiency is a central element in the Egyptian national climate action. As part of this effort, Egyptian companies can take out loans with the purpose of restructuring their production so that it becomes more energy efficient, and the loans are repaid based on reduced energy consumption.

With the new F2 solution, it will be possible for Egyptian companies to apply for loans via a self-service solution in English and Arabic. Loan applications are then processed in F2, and at the same time it will be possible for ECO to gain an overview of issue and status of loans as well as effects in relation to the realized energy-saving projects.

The agreement is the result of meetings during COP26 in Glasgow where cBrain met representatives from the Egyptian government and ECO. It is the goal that the new solution will be configured and implemented within a few months so that it can be presented at COP27 in Egypt.

The new F2 solution in Egypt will be delivered within a short period of time, and it will at the same time be delivered as a cloud service. The agreement thus supports cBrain’s position and commitment as a supplier of climate software, including cBrain’s ability to deliver solutions in a short time. At the same time, the agreement demonstrates how Danish experiences across digitization and climate can be reused internationally.
