COP27 agreement initiates collaboration between the Environmental Protection Agency in Ghana and cBrain

Implementation is a key theme at COP27 in Egypt, and the fight against the global climate changes are largely driven by authorities. But unfortunately, it often takes a long time between politicians adopting a resolution until the decision is implemented in practice. It is therefore crucial for climate action to shorten the time it takes to implement political decisions.

Based on bilateral talks during COP27 in Egypt, cBrain has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Environmental Protection Agency in Ghana, where the goal is to reuse Danish experience and thereby accelerate climate action.

Denmark is a leading country in both climate action and public digitization. By reusing Danish experiences and the many digital solutions that cBrain has developed in close collaboration with the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, the intention is to accelerate digitization at the Environmental Protection Agency in Ghana, both for the benefit of the population and the environment in Ghana and as inspiration for other authorities.

Authorities across the world face the same climate challenges, and at the same time they work based on the same governance principles. It is therefore both easy and self-evident to reuse best practices and well-proven digital solutions between authorities across the world and thus shorten the time it takes to implement political decisions.

Examples of specific regulatory processes and solutions where it is possible to reuse include support schemes, regulation, inspection and control, permits and approvals as well as follow-up and reporting.

Resale of solutions from cBrain's library of F2 climate software is an increasingly central element in cBrain's international growth strategy, and the new cooperation agreement from COP27 supports that there is an international interest in cBrain's solutions.
