Per Tejs Knudsen (CEO) and Thomas Qvist (CTO) have sold approx. 4.2% of their holdings in cBrain together. The shares have been sold to a small group of institutional shareholders, whom we hereby have the pleasure of welcoming to the group of owners.
cBrain made history when the company was listed on NASDAQ OMX. cBrain’s shares are believed to be the first shares to be fully listed via the internet. Additionally, the listing took place through cBrain’s own software.
As a result of the internet-based listing, the vast majority of cBrain’s shareholders have up until now consisted of private shareholders, including employees. At the same time, cBrain has noted an ever-increasing interest in the company over the years, and the company’s group of owners consists of around 12,000 shareholders in approx. 40 countries.
We have now been contacted by a group of institutional shareholders who have wished to acquire a slightly larger holding. Through the aforementioned transaction, we have been able to enhance stock liquidity whilst expanding the group of owners on the institutional side.
Transaction form can be found on cBrain’s website.
