UGAP is a public authority under the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, which supports public procurement, including a framework agreement for the purchase of software.
It is an important step for cBrain in France that the company has now reached UGAP's framework agreement.
cBrain offers F2 on the framework agreement in the form of a service subscription, often called software-as-a-service. In the framework agreement, cBrain also offers the various types of consulting services that may be relevant in connection with the acquisition and commissioning of F2, including configuration of the standard software, training of users and support. Consulting services are offered on an hourly basis.
When public authorities purchase IT solutions, it is often both extensive and time-consuming, e.g. because public procurement is subject to a set of public procurement rules. Through UGAP, the French authorities now have the opportunity to procure a complete F2 solution and associated consulting services directly on the national framework agreement. This has made it much easier and much faster for authorities in France to purchase F2.
UGAP's framework agreements can be compared with the Danish framework agreements, which are administered by the State and Municipal Procurement Service, including SKI 02.19 SaaS-Cloud agreement. The Danish SKI 02.19 SaaS-Cloud agreement today forms the basis for the agreement for a large part of cBrain's deliveries to the public authorities in Denmark, including not least cBrain's revenue from software subscriptions.
In Denmark, public procurement agreements have been a significant factor in cBrain's success. It is therefore very gratifying that cBrain has also entered into the national framework agreement in France, where F2, as in Denmark, is now offered as a subscription service (software-as-a-service) to public authorities.
