cBrain has entered into a cooperation agreement in Ukraine. The agreement has been concluded with the Ukrainian Fund for Energy Efficiency and Energy Savings (UFEES), which is a publicly funded non-governmental organization in Ukraine, and the Makariv Settlement Council, which is located in the Kyiv region.
As the first step in the agreement, cBrain has initiated a pilot project to help digitalize the administration in the Makariv municipality. Here, the goas is, based on F2 and Danish administrative best practices, to support governance, administration and secure case processing in connection with the reconstruction of the municipality's infrastructure, which has been destroyed in connection with the occupation of the region.
In parallel with the signing of the agreement, cBrain has been invited as a participant in "the Rebuild Ukraine Conference" in Warsaw, Poland together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The conference has the participation of more than 300 European companies, financial institutions and public authorities, including a number of ministries and municipalities from Ukraine, e.g. Makariv Settlement Council.
The Ukrainian state has long had their focus on public digitization, and cBrain has had a dialogue with the Ukrainian authorities for several years, including, among other things, having hosted visits with the participation of high-ranking officials and politicians from the Ukrainian central administration at cBrain’s office in Copenhagen.
cBrain is therefore looking forward to, first of all, being able to both contribute to the reconstruction in Ukraine and hopefully in the long term play a role in connection with the digitalization of the public sector in Ukraine.
In connection with the agreement, Yehor Stefanovych, who is the chairman of the board of UFEE, says:
"Digitalization of Ukraine is also digitalization of communities and distribution of modern and convenient IT solutions in public agencies at all levels. UFEES is the operator of this pilot project and contributes to the technical implementation. We are grateful to cBrain for their quick response and willingness to contribute to the digital renewal of Ukraine”.
In connection with the agreement, Anatoliy Karbovskyi, who is Deputy Chairman of the Makariv Settlement Council, says:
“The council had for a long time wished for a modern IT solution that would make communication and interaction with the public fast, of high quality and bring it to a fundamentally new level. We are very grateful for the offer to participate in this pilot project and the opportunity to bring all operational processes up to a modern level. Denmark is the country with the most developed digital solutions. It is particularly valuable for us to gain knowledge and understanding of cBrain's technology as they play an important role in the Danish digital transformation".
